Erika Chloe, celebrity stylist and chief executive officer of My Image Expert, said: "It is important for men to create individual style through their shirt selections."
"To stay stylish and current, incorporate shirts that have a different coloured or contrasting collar, cuffs or front placket," she suggested.
Ted Baker has a range of great smart shirts, including the Nectrin striped archive shirt and the Rainin paisley print shirt.
Chloe advised: "Printed shirts can be a bit flamboyant, so ease into them slowly and try mixing printed button downs with solid, neutral, sleeveless v-necks."
David Groves, tailor and exhibitor at the National Wedding Show, said recently grooms are beginning to move away from traditional morning suits for their big day.
